The BackyardAsians are here to perform kid-ified musical improv FOR ADULTS, inspired by TV shows you grew up with: elements of Nick Jr and PBS Kids, with just a hint of Adult Swim. Through song, dance and puppetry, they teach essential life lessons like how to spell, how to dance inside a jail cell, and how to set someone on fire.

Debuting as part of Shoes Off: All Asian Improv at Second City NYC, the BackyardAsians have since graced the stages of Asian Comedy Fest and Brooklyn Comedy Collective's Fun & Dumb Improv Festival. The cast includes a star of the Off-Broadway sensation Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock LIVE, veterans of Magnet Theater's Musical Megawatt, and a spirited green puppet (And no, she's not related to Oscar the Grouch. That’s racist!)
